Found an error on the calendar...sorry about that. a commentor brought it to my attention. The first Book Club meeting is not until September 10th. I had it down for the first, but this is incorrect and i have now fixed it...

So what is the Book Club anyway? It's just that! A regular old Book Club that has nothing to do with any kind of scrapbooking will begin meeting on 9/10 at the store! How fun? Be sure to contact Sheree for all the details and you can also visit here to get an idea of what is going on.

Are you ready to Scrap Pink? It's the last weekend of September and we will be cropping around the clock! That's right, from 10am Saturday, 9/29 all the way until 3pm Sunday, 9/30! And $10 of your crop fee will go to Susan G. Komen foundation to battle breast cancer. On saturday, you'll get lunch and dinner, then on Sunday you'll get breakfast and brunch. Plus, you can crop all night long if you want...no kids, no cleaning up your supplies. Even if you don't stay the whole night, we won't make you clean up your stuff! Sign up today because space is limited. Sunday you will also receive a mini-album class and a page kit, too! All for only $50!!!

RETREAT! and September goings-on...

Contrary to what we found many to have heard, we did have a retreat this past weekend...and it was fab! We had so much fun! So next time you hear we've canceled some event, please check with one of the girls at our store to make sure!


The good news is that we have already secured 10 spots for February (15th-17th) and 10 spots for September (26th-28th). Call today for details!

As for store happenings, we're working on the September calendar which is now available at the store and will post tomorrow online. Sheree will starting up a book club which will meet on Mondays every two weeks. The club will begin on 9/10 at 10am to Noon and again on 9/24 also from 10am to Noon. Check for a link to the right on this blog (when i get one set up--hopefully tomorrow) for all the details!

We're also staring a Lunch Bunch Crop Group. We'll meet every Tuesday and Thursday in September and if it fairs well, we'll do it again in October! Join us from Noon-2pm, bring all your croppin' goodies and your lunch too and catch up on those pages. Remember that we have locker rental at the store if you don't feel like lugging all that stuff around everyday! If you're not too messy, we might even let you leave your stuff on one of the tables! Oh, and this lunch bunch thingy is free, so what are you waiting for? (I guess until September 4th when it starts!)

Space is limited to 6 for this Autumn Garland class. It'll be 9/19 from 10-Noon...if you all prefer an evening class, let us know. if we have enough takers for the night rather than the day, we may just reschedule it!


Jana has also scheduled a "De-stressing" class to catch up on the latest trends in distressing your projects...and also a Collage Class which will allow you to be super creative with your (and our) scraps! Catch the dates and times for these on the forum.


Also, our No Frills Friday crops will now be $10...but we'll include dinner! And don't forget about our Scrap Pink Weekend...details to come. Just be sure to mark your calendars for 9/28 and 9/29 for two super fun days of cropping and charity (a portion of the crop fee will go directly to Scrapbooks, etc. to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation!

Ok, so Jana got a huge wild hair and decided to re-arrange the entire store! We've added a whole bunch to clearance in the process, and re-organized lots of things getting ready for all the new items...and something really, really big! but you'll have to wait on that because it just isn't ready yet. and jana is still stuck behind the hutch:

August Calendar is up!

Lots of cool stuff happening in August...except the weather, of course!

Garage Sale is set for August 18th. If you're selling, reserve your table by the 13th of August. If you plan on buying, I know at least two ladies who have lot os goodies to unload (one of them is yours truly :))...
